Donation Guidelines
We have 11 locations across Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin where you can donate your gently used household items. A trained Donation Services Associate will help unload your vehicle and offer you a donation receipt so you can track your tax deductible donations. Donate at Goodwill and receive a coupon for 20% off your next purchase!
Here is what TO donate and what NOT TO donate.
What TO donate:
- Gently used clothing, shoes, and boots
- Jewelry and accessories
- Household items in good condition
- Kitchenware in good condition
- Furniture in good condition
- Bicycles in working condition
- Musical instruments
- Books
- Records, CD’s, and DVD’s
What NOT TO donate:
- Appliances such as fridges, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers etc.
- Damaged, worn, or stained furniture
- Metal file cabinets
- Large entertainment stands
- Plumbing and lighting fixtures, carpeting, windows, screens, etc.
- Box springs, mattresses, water beds, etc.
- Humidifiers and dehumidifiers
- Tires or vehicle parts
- Hazardous waste or household trash
- Weapons (guns, knives, bows etc.)
- Medical equipment
